6 Bridges Gallery is pleased to announce the opening of Fluid Fantasies by Ernest Stonebraker.

Stonebraker writes,

“Interesting things happen when fluids mix together. Watch when milk is added to coffee, fresh water mixes with silt-laden glacier melt, or when a drop of food coloring is added to water. The latter was explored in a previous show called Aqueous Abstracts. In this sequel the vocabulary was expanded by adding mineral oil, Karo syrup, and food coloring, in addition to a few new tricks on how the fluids were introduced. The prints are all on aluminum, enhancing the colors.”
