ERNEST STONEBRAKER received a bachelor’s degree in physics from the Pennsylvania State University in 1962. While always an avid photographer, he became interested in oil painting and took his first class in 1988. He continued his education as a continuing education student at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, being most influenced by the realistic painting style of Joel Babb. He is an active member of Cambridge Art Association, Concord Art and 6 Bridges Gallery, a cooperative gallery at 77 Main Street, Maynard, MA 01754.
